Even days later im under their influence somehow.<br />I would like to get recommended movies like these ( mostly traditional costume movies)! Also from different directors.MeTaLcIcChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16845626821656121235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7769732831239720146.post-89857858086424669212010-09-10T19:10:52.277-04:002010-09-10T19:10:52.277-04:00I really like Im Kwon-taek although there are many...I really like Im Kwon-taek although there are many of his films that I have not been able to get my hands on. This is long and yes very folksy but I really enjoyed. It was so beautifully put together and masterfully orchestrated that I got swept up in it.conranphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13799505413464310212noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7769732831239720146.post-45512322824884976882009-07-02T13:19:38.327-04:002009-07-02T13:19:38.327-04:00If you consider Painted Fire slow, for the love of...If you consider Painted Fire slow, for the love of soju, don't watch Seopyonje. The two movies about The General's Son were fun but corny and Painted Fire was a bit slow for my taste.Drew P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14875923118523549579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7769732831239720146.post-55515508165326829132009-06-29T14:26:40.709-04:002009-06-29T14:26:40.709-04:00Yeah, coming from the director of "Seopyeonje...Yeah, coming from the director of "Seopyeonje," I had high hopes for this one. Actually saw it in the theatre in Toronto during it's initial release. I agree with your appraisal. Sumptuous but not solid. I did, however really enjoy "Painted Fire" (Chihwaseon) and "Beyond the Years" (Cheonnyeonhak)--the latter very similar to "Seopyeonje"--from Im Kwon-TaekAccidentalFraserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17624177847590940415noreply@blogger.com
